May 2019. Budapest Eye is a Ferris wheel erected in ErzsĂ©bet Square in 2017. It is 65m in height (the largest Ferris wheel in Europe), with 42 partially open cabins. The view from the top of the Eye is panoramic. It is illuminated at night, and on the 15th of March is lit up in the national tricolor. Also there are nice views on Danube river and bridges. Have a look at Fishermen Bastion - it looks like a princess castle from the fairly tail, my daughter was totally amazed. Great view from the top of the bastion, spreading all throughout Pest, with the magnificent Parliament in its heart.
